Water Conservation Campaign
The Water Conservation Campaign
starts on March 22 (World Water Day) and ends by the end of each year. This campaign includes:
a) Continued campaign through schools (class competitions, handouts, school
schedules, etc.) the media, posters, letter franking, stickers, brochures, etc. to encourage water
saving by the
consumers.
b) Encouragements for the use of low grade water such as contaminated or
recycled water for non-potable needs (e.g. subsidies for the
drilling of boreholes for garden watering in urban areas, subsides for the
connection of low grade water source to WC´s and subsidies for the installation
of grey water recycling system outside of each household). |
